The Key Expertise Area: an expert on the environmental protection and sustainable use of natural resources. the Candidate of Sciences in Geography, the associate professor. The Astana Public Environmental Council Member. The author of more than 80 scientific and methodical publications.
Ten years' experience in management of international projects on an estimation and capacity building for the environmental protection and sustainable development, environmental conventions, territorial planning for a sustainable development, energy efficiencyand power savings.
Professional Experience: the Kazakh National University named after Al Farabi, the UNDP/GEF, UNEP, TACIS, EBRD international environmental projects on global environmental conventions, preservation and the biodiversity components sustainable use, the sustainable development, energy efficiency and energy savings.
He has defended his thesis on a climate change problem (1997).
He headed the UNDP/GEF and RK Government projects on energy efficiency advancement in a municipal heat supply, complex methods on energy savings in housing and utilities services of small cities, the budgetary sphere buildings thermomodernization at various times since 2009. He is the UNDP/GEF and RK Government projects on energy efficiency in housing, utilities services and building portfolio co-ordinator since 2014.
He is responsible for the project activities daily management at the national level. He leads the Project Implementation Team (PIT), co-ordinating activities of all advisers, operating and managerial staff, companies.

Аiman Shopayeva
The Expert on Energy Efficiency

The Key Expertise Area: a Civil Engineer on Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Air Basin Protection, Ms. Aiman is the Skilled Expert in Energy Auditing and Certified Expert as to Examination of the Town-Planning, Predesign and Design-Estimation Documents on Engineering Networks and Systems.
Ms. Shopayeva has lectured at KazGASA, KazNTU named after K.Satpayev, ЕNU named after L.Gumilev Universities. Ms. Shopayeva was the director of Department of Energy Efficient Technologies at the “Kazakhstan Housing and Utilities Modernization and Development Centre” JSC, the Chairman of RK Agency on Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Affairs Adviser on Energy Efficiency in Construction, Housing and Utilities matters. The author of more than 30 scientific as well as methodical articles and publications. Ms. Shopayeva is in charge of Energy-Savings and of of Housing-and-Utilities Services and Construction Sector Energy Efficiency’s Increase matters. Ms. Shopayeva is a Certified Energy Manager of the International Association of Energy Engineers (АЕЕ).

Dinara Abdrakhmanova
The Project Public Relations and Awareness-building Expert

Professional Experience: the Kazakhstani Ministry of Environment and Water Resources (the International Cooperation and Proceedings’ Report Department), the Caspian Environmental Program (CEP) CАSPECO UNDP/JUNEP/GEF project of the Project.
The Project Public Relations (PR) and Awareness-building Expert provides support to awareness-building and information campaigns, the Project Web Resources elaboration and updating, preparation and distribution of hand-out materials, rendering of managerial and organizational support concerning implementation of the projects connected with PR matters.

Ainur Amirkhanova
The Project Procurement Specialist

Educated at leading universities of the country having majors in Economics and Foreign Philology. Her professional service at the UNDP in Kazakhstan has been started in 2004 and since 2007 Ms. Ainur has devoted herself entirely to activity in projects on energy efficiency in housing, utilities services and construction. Ms. Amirkhanova knows all hidden mysteries of the UNDP procedures, and has advanced management skills and display fortitude regarding any climatic risks.

Dina Madiyeva

Professional Experience: the UNDP in Kazakhstan’s Financial and Administration Department, “ Integrated Conservation of Priority Globally Significant Migratory Bird Wetland Habitat : A Demonstration on Three Sites” GEF/UNDP in Kazakhstan Project, “National Biodiversity Planning to Support the implementation of the CBD 2011-2020 Strategic Plan in Republic of Kazakhstan” GEF/UNDP in Kazakhstan Project . The Project Assistant on administration and financial matters, provides support to Project’s annual expenses monitoring according to the work plan and budget providing the project co-ordinator with necessary information , financial reports preparation according to the adopted procedures and formats of the UNDP, the corresponding reporting documents preparation such as the expenditures analysis and categories of payments, provides support to seminars’ organizing and executing, working meetings and visits, delegations etc.
