Energy efficient design and construction of residential buildings


Winners of the Republican Competition on Designing of a Energy Efficient Building have been announced

A solemn ceremony of diplomas and certificates presentation to winners and participants of republican competition on designing of the energy efficient building organised by «The Energy Efficient Design and Construction of Residential Buildings»  UNDP/GEF Project has been held On December 12, 2014 in Astana. The competition has been held among students in  "Construction", «Engineering networks» or "Architecture" specialities throughout the Republic. A competition main objective was the energy efficient buildings’ designing and construction promotion. And also students attention attraction to the energy efficient construction subject, finding out and providing a support to the future experts in the aforementioned sphere.
More than 12 papers took part in competition, the commission composed of specialists and experts of the aforesaid sphere has made special mention of three papers, namely «the Green Business Centre in Almaty» Design Work  of the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (КazGASA) undergraduate Anton Fedyanin. He has won the 3rd place and as an incentive prize Anton has been presented with a SamsungGalaxy smart phone and other souvenirs.
A student of Construction Faculty of the КazGASA Fariza Anesova has been awarded the 2nd place for «the Cafeteria of 230 seats with the sun and a wind energy use in the Kenderli Recreation Zone» design work, Fariza has been presented with a iPadmini tablet computer and other souvenirs.  
The Taraz State University "Architecture" department student Ekaterina Rezanova has won the 1st place and been awarded a diploma and also a Lenovo laptop for «A residential building designing in the City of Taraz» design work. The commission members have made special mention  of Ekaterina's work for heat engineering calculations during the building designing, determination of a class of energy efficiency in compliance with technological normative documents in force, window designs labelling, a competent new technologies use in a building’s  life-support systems etc.
